Er zijn zoveel kleuren Flower Foam en met elke kleur zien de bloemen er weer mooi uit.
Zo is dat ook met deze Papaver bloem.
De bladeren van de bloem stans je uit één kleur. Door met inkt nerven en kleuraccenten aan te brengen, geef je de bloem vervolgens diepte en variatie.
Gebruik bij foam in de pastel tinten een bijpassende tint om de nerven er op te stempelen. Geef de randen van de bladeren vervolgens met deze inkt wat kleur accenten.
Bij kleuren als rood en donker blauw moet je de nerven beter herkenbaar maken. Bij deze donkere kleuren stempel ik de nerven met zwart of donker bruin of donker bruin. Voor de kleuraccenten kies ik een tint die wat dichter bij de kleur van het foam komt.
In zo'n geval laat ik bij het hart van de bloem de donkere tint van de nerven weer terug komen. Je kunt een hartje van donker foam maken, hele donkere meeldraden of donkere brads gebruiken. Zo krijg je een mooi geheel, zonder dat de donkere nerven gaan storen.

The leaves of the flower are made from one color. By applying veins with ink and color accents with ink, you then give the flower depth and variation.
For foam in the pastel shades, I use a matching shade to stamp the veins on it. Then I give the edges of the petals some colour accents with this ink.
With colors like red and dark blue you have to make the veins more recognizable. With these dark colors I stamp the veins with black or dark brown or dark brown. For the color accents I choose a shade that comes closer to the color of the foam.
In such a case, I let the dark shade of the veins come back at the heart of the flower. You can make a heart of dark foam, use very dark stamens or dark brads. This way you get a nice balance in colour, and the dark veins won't be disturbing.
