KERSTKAART MET EEKHOORNTJE 

Het eekhoorntje kan een hele mooie decoratie vormen voor een kerstkaart. De stempel van de kerstkrans vormt voor hierbij een mooie achtergrond. Deze krans is een combi stamp, met naast de krans nog enkele takjes de strik en besjes.
Voor de achtergrond is de template met de sterren heel goed te gebruiken. Voor het inkten van kleine stukjes van de template gebruik ik graag de crocodile tool. Een ideaal stukje gereedschap......

A CHRISTMAS CARD WITH A SQUIRREL 

The squirrel can be used as a beautiful decoration for a Christmas card. To emphasize the Christmas atmoshere you can use the stamp of the wreath as a background. The wreath is a combi stamp, on which you find next to the wreath some single branches, a bow and some berries. Lovely to combine with each other.
The stars on the background are applied using the template. I love to use the crocodile tool to ink these little decorations.....

EMBOSSING FOLDER NET EVEN ANDERS GEBRUIKT 

Over het algemeen embossen we papier en gebruiken dan de zijde met het reliëf. Op deze kaart heb ik de 'verkeerde' kant gebruikt, de kant dus met het patroon in de 'diepte".
Door nu ook met inkt te werken, krijgen de diepere gedeelten ook nog een beetje kleur.

Een leuke techniek, die u ook heel goed voor uw kerstkaarten kunt gebruiken.....
* Leg de embossing folder open voor u.
* Gebruik de zijde met het "hoge motief'.  Geef deze hoge delen met behulp van het stempelkussen kleur. Door heel voorzichtig over de folder te bewegen, raakt u ook alleen de hoge delen.
Kleine vlekjes haalt u eventueel weg met een sponsje.
* Leg voorzichtig het papier op de hoge kant. Sluit de folder en haal deze door uw machine. Let op: de gesloten zijde gaat altijd als eerste door de machine!
* Open de folder, haal het papier er tussen uit en maak de folder schoon.

Het zo verkregen velletje kunt u als achtergrond op uw kaart gebruiken.......


EMBOSSING FOLDER USED IN ANOTHER WAY.... 

In general, we emboss paper and use the embossed side of it. On this card I used the "wrong side", the side with the pattern in the 'depth'.
If you use in such a case stamping ink, the deeper portions also get a bit of color.

A nice technique, which you might use for your Christmas cards .....
* Put the embossing folder open for you.
* Use the side with the 'raised images". Give these high sections some color with your inkpad. Moving carefully over the folder it will touch only the high sections.
You may remove small spots with a sponge.
* Carefully put the paper on the raised images. Close the folder and get it through your machine. Note: The closed side always goes first through the machine!
* Open the folder, remove the paper and clean the folder.

The beautiful colored design, which is the 'wrong side' of the paper,  can be used as background on your card .......

Deze Lea'bilitie laat zich voor heel wat gelegenheden gebruiken. Of het nu voor een zomerse kaart is, of een decoratie voor een kerstkaart, deze stans komt u heel vaak van pas.

Op deze kaart is de embossingfolder van de muur gebruikt als achtergrond.
Werken met de template van de muur is een andere mogelijkheden om een mooie achtergrond te maken. Gebruik de template in combinatie met een krokodillen tool. Zo kunt u op een eenvoudige manier kleine delen van de template gebruiken.

On this card, the embossing folder of the wall is used as a background.
Working with the wall template is another way to make a beautiful background. Use the template in combination with a crocodile tool. This way you can easily use small sections of the template.

Voor een kaart bij een verhuizing is de deur een hele goede decoratie. U kunt de deur heel goed combineren met stempels en templates, zoals die van de bloemen en de muur. 

Met de stempels van de bomen en de structuren maakt u het tafereeltje van de deur compleet.

With help of the trees and the stamp "structures' you can decorate the scene of the door.

EEN SPECIALE DAG..... 

Een nazomerdag in de zon op een bankje.... Een leuk tafereeltje op een kaart voor een speciaal iemand. Creëer met de template een mooie achtergrond. Gebruik voor kleine details een krokodillen tool. Hierin klem je een kleine pompom. Zo kleur je de kleine details van de template, of geef je in de bloemen wat kleur accenten.

A SPECIAL DAY .....

A late summer day in the sun on a bench .... A nice scene on a card for a special someone. Create a beautiful background with the template. Use a crocodile tool for small details. Use a small pompom. This way you color the small details of the template, or give you some color accents in the flowers.

Met deze combistempel maak je hele mooie en steeds verschillende kerstkaarten.

Met het stansje snijd je twee strookjes met bergen als achtergrond. Geef deze langs de bovenzijde wat kleur accenten.
Stempel daarna een rij met de kerstboompjes. Let op je moet 'maskeren' als je de boompjes wilt overlappen. (Zie het youtube filmpje over het maskeren.) Stempel eerst een  'vol' boompje en vervolgens stempel je het motief naar keuze eroverheen. Als de rij klaar is, knip je deze uit.
Leg de bergjes en de bomen op het vierkant en bepaal de plaats van de maan.
Daarna kun je met donkere inkt de kerstman met slee eroverheen stempelen.
Met de template kun je hier en daar wat sterren in de hemel aanbrengen.

Je kunt met deze materialen eindeloos variëren. Zo ziet iedere kaart er weer anders uit.


Santa & small christmas trees

With this combi stamp you create beautiful and each time a different Christmas card.

With the die you cut two strips with mountains as a background. Give them some color accents along the top.
Then stamp a row with the Christmas trees. Note that you must "mask" if you want to overlap the trees. (See my youtube video about masking.) Stamp first a full tree and then stamp the design tree of choice over it. When the row is ready, cut it out.
Position the mountains and the trees on a blanc square and determine the place of the moon.
Then, with dark ink, you can stamp the Santa with sledge over it.
With the template you can decorate the sky with some stars.

You can endlessly vary with these materials. That way every card looks different.

Herfstkaart....

HERFST:  een bijpassende kaart 

Op zo'n herfstdag past wel een kaart in herfst sfeer. Het eekhoorntje is daarvoor een geschikte stansvorm.
Voor de achtergrond snijdt u uit een vel papier een cirkel. Dit vel is het 'masker'.
Zet dit 'masker' over het oplegvel vast. Gebruik een blendingtool of sponsje en mosgroen inkt. Veeg vanaf de rand van de cirkel naar het midden toe.
Werk met dunne laagjes en geef iets meer kleur aan de linker onderzijde.
Tot slot gebruikt u een van de structuurstempels. Stempel nu het gewenste motief over de opening in uw masker.

In plaats van de stempel, kunt u ook de template gebruiken. Leg de template over de opening en ga eroverheen met uw sponsje of blendingtool.
Als alles naar wens is, verwijdert u pas het masker.


Autumn: a fitting card..... 

On this autumn day fits a card in the autumn atmosphere. The squirrel is suitable die for this purpose.
For the background, you cut a circle out of a sheet of paper. This paper is now your 'mask'.
Attach this 'mask' over the cardstock sheet. Use a blending tool or sponge and moss green ink. Swipe from the edge of circle to the open center.
Work with thin layers and give a little more color on the left bottom.
Finally, use one of the decorative structure stamps. Stamp the desired design over the open circle.

Instead of the stamp, you can also use on of the templates. Position the template over the opening of your mask and go over it with your sponge or blending tool.
When the design is as you wish, just remove the mask.
